Brian Qualls, RLA, LEED AP
Brian
is a principal of the firm and leads the landscape architecture
department for SCL Consulting and has over 15 years of project
management and landscape architecture experience. Brian
graduated
from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 1996 with a Bachelors of
Landscape Architecture. Brian's experience ranges from
schematic
design to construction administration. His expertise includes
project coordination, construction management, preparation of
specifications, and the preparation of construction documents.
Brian has worked on large projects that required the interaction
of several design disciplines, as well as direct client interaction.
Being a registered landscape architect in Arizona and Nevada
has
given him an opportunity to become knowledgeable on sustainable
landscape design utilizing indigenous and drought tolerant plant
species as well as low water drip irrigation systems and solar
irrigation controllers. Since Brian has spent most of his career in the
desert southwest, he has developed great experience in southwest plant
material and irrigation design.
